Seattle

This next slideshow is of my trip to Seattle to meet Larry, and visit Ryan and Annabella.  We had a beautiful spring weekend in the northwest.  Truly lovely...everything was starting to bloom, and the air was fresh and clean, especially by the water.  We had a blast hanging with the kids, shopping at target, having Pho at our favorite place (where my intense love for it first started!), and having a yummy dinner with Ronnie and Roberta at the rotating space needle restaurant.  We even had time to squeeze in a little baseball!  Annabella is so fun and cute...truly a delight.  I had to restrain myself from trying to hug or hold her too much, as to not freak her out completely.  It was a fun, happy weekend!

I'm back!

Hello everyone!

I am back in Sing, and back to the old bloggaroonie.  I'm sorry I've been gone so long, I'll try not to let it happen again.  I had a wonderful 2 month vacation in the states, full of family and friends. I have about a million pictures, and I spent most of today uploading them, and condensing them into slideshows to put on here.
The first slideshow is from when I first arrived home, and had my knee surgery, a hair coloring session by my friend, Michael (I have his number if anyone needs a new do, he's VERY good!) and a dinner party at my parents house with some of my second cousins.  I had so many fun times, and the thought of blogging it all is overwhelming, so, hopefully the pictures will speak for themselves!  I included the picture below because my Mom's head got cut off for some reason in the slideshow...love this shot!
Things are fine in Sing, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things, and am FINALLY over the jet lag.  For some reason larry and I get it worse heading this way, rather than to the states. Speaking of the states, larry had to go back again for work.  This is just a short trip though, and he'll be home soon.
It's good to be back, but it does feel a little strange. Almost like going through the culture shock all over again.  It's funny though, this does feel like home, maybe it's that Larry is here, and where he is, that is my home, or maybe it's just all our "stuff".  Not sure. Anyway, being there for 2 months was a real gift, and I know the memories, pictures and treats from Target will get me through the next time I get homesick.
